About Me

My name is Simon Brahan. I was born in 1983, then nothing else really happened for about twenty years. I developed an interest in scripting for the web as it produced an immediate result to a few hours tinkering, and you could do it for free in notepad.

I went to university and studied interactive multimedia to get a more rounded view of what could be done with internet technology; It transpired that I couldn't do graphic design to save my life, but my interest in the design and development of web applications was fostered by exposure to several technologies.

After university, I tried the military life. That ended rather quickly.

I now find myself as a junior web developer in a company providing web solutions for schools. In my free time I read, write a little, try to stay fit and enjoy the odd spot of pulse raising. Karting, paintballing, motorcycling, anything with an element of apparent risk. Excepting, for some reason, bungie jumping.
